  • Alzheimer's is a disease that can actually fly memory and innocent people. It is a tragedy when this happens and, unfortunately, it happens to many people every year. Are they treated? Is there any hope for people who are facing problems of Alzheimer's disease? Take a look at it and see what it is and why it is such a horrible disease to have.

    What is Alzheimer's disease?

The end result is serious damage to the brain. Patient with Alzheimer's live an average of eight to ten years after diagnosis. Others may live up to twenty years.

    There is no cure for Alzheimer's disease. Some medications that are used in early stages of treatment can slow the progression of the disease in some patients. Some medications used to treat the symptoms of the disease, which can help make the patient more comfortable. On the horizon are many new drugs and treatment plans, including research on stem cells, which can benefit people with Alzheimer's disease.
